Time to quit!

Just returned from an incredible three days at the Lifeway Women's Ministry Forum in Nashville, TN. I went with Dianne Paul, Pat Richardson and Gail Wright to encourage them in how they were going to take over the leadership in women's ministry. I had decided to quit in September, because of the looming demands of family and other ministries we were involved in. God said a surprising thing to all of us..."Don't quit! You just need to quit doing it the way you have been doing it!" So...back to the drawing board. Who knows where we are going, but it will be a wild ride, no doubt!

Welcome!

Girlfriends at Cedar Creek is the women's ministry of Cedar Creek Church in Aiken, South Carolina. We seek to connect women in intentional ways to encourage their emotional and spiritual lives.

Our ministry offers opportunities to enhance women's lives, much like an umbrella, protecting women from the storms of life. Four parts of that umbrella are: G!Events (Girlfriends Nights and The Chocolate Cafe), G!Clubs (monthly, interest-based groups), G!Classes (ladies Bible studies) and G!Getaways (retreats and conferences). Each are designed to meet different needs by encouraging, teaching, building up and refreshing women to help them be all that God created them to be.

Join us! It's a wild ride!
